Officials Clinic
Date: August 11, 2007
Location: NORD Office at 800 Race Street
Time: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Breakfast and Lunch Provided)
Hosts: NCAA Officials
Participants: Seniors in high school to adults interested in working as officials for the youngest divisions of NORD youth football.
Pay: $24 per game
What will be covered: Basics of officiating i.e. positioning on the field, rules of the game, NORD rules, technique, etc.

Coaches Clinic 1 (Optional Clinic)
Location: Louisiana State University (LSU)
Date: July 21
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Participants: Registered NORD youth football coaches
Hosts: LSU Football Staff
Transportation: Buses will leave from St. Bernard Center at 1500 Lafreniere promptly at 9:00 a.m. and return at approximately 6:00 p.m.
What will be covered: The LSU coaching staff will go over basic football instruction, fundamentals of football, proper technique, and offensive and defensive game planning. The clinic will also include a tour of the LSU football facility and Tiger Stadium. Lunch is provided.

Location: Tulane University
Date: July 22
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Participants: Registered NORD youth football coaches
Hosts: Football Coaches from all Sun Belt Conference schools
Transportation: Parking will be provided at Tulane’s campus for clinic participants
What will be covered: There will be several different sessions that cover basics of offense, defense, special teams, conditioning and athletic training. Lunch is provided.

Participants: New Orleans Youth interested in playing football
What will be covered: Kids will have an opportunity to learn the basics of football from Conference USA coaches and youth coaches.
