Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - Is Jerry Rice going to Disneyland?

The legendary wide receiver's alma mater, Mississippi Valley State, has been selected to play Florida A&M in the ninth annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge on Sept. 1 at the Florida Citrus Bowl.

The MEAC holds a 6-2 lead in the Challenge, which is presented by Disney.

Florida A&M will represent the MEAC for the second time - it lost to Southern, 33-27, in the 2007 MEAC/SWAC Challenge - while SWAC member Mississippi Valley State will make its first appearance.

Earl Holmes will be making his head coaching debut for Florida A&M, which had a 4-7 record last season. Mississippi Valley State finished 5-6 under Karl Morgan.

The two teams met once previously, a 28-13 FAMU win in 1990.
