BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Battle of Florida All-Star Game will be played on Saturday at Florida Atlantic Stadium.
The game features players with Florida ties, whether they are originally from the Sunshine State, or if they played at a Florida college or university.
The game is also highlighted by a pair of Hall of Fame coaches. Former Florida State coach Bobby Bowden, who is second all-time on the Division I wins list, will coach the North team. Howard Schnellenberger, who won a national championship at Miami and later built the program at Florida Atlantic, will coach the South team.
The North squad features former East Carolina quarterback Dominique Davis, as well as former South Carolina signal caller Stephen Garcia.
The South team is highlighted by former Florida wide receiver Deonte Thompson and former Pittsburgh running back Zach Brown.
The game is at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday and can be seen on Fox College Sports.
