Virginia Tech's Wilson Set For NFL Draft

BLACKSBURG, Va.
(Sports Network) - Virginia Tech running back David Wilson has decided to skip his senior season to enter the NFL Draft.

Wilson rushed for 1,709 yards with nine touchdowns for the Hokies this past season. Entering the bowl season, he was sixth in the nation with a per game average of 125.1 yards per game.

The Virginia native finished his three-year career with 2,662 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns. He started just one game prior to this season.
