
UNLV Head Football Coach Mike Sanford welcomed participants to the 2009 NCAA Football Youth Day Clinic at the Cox Pavilion on July 30. Hosted by the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas and NCAA Football's Youth Initiative, the clinic allowed more than 150 kids to enjoy agility drills, offensive and defensive training, and character development. "It's always great to get young people from the community on our campus and teach them about sports," said Sanford.

 Boys and girls came together at this year's NCAA Football Youth Day Clinic, hosted by MAACO Bowl Las Vegas, to learn the core fundamentals to help them improve both on and off the field. The UNLV coaching staff led agility drills and offensive and defensive training, while former college and NFL star running back Napoleon McCallum gave a speech on the importance of good character.
