Alamo Bowl Hosting NCAA Football Youth Clinic On July 16

For the third year the Valero Alamo Bowl has teamed up with NCAA Football to host a Free Youth Football Clinic on July 16th from 9:00 a.m. - Noon at the University of the Incarnate Word. Coaches from UIW, UTSA, TLU, Trinity and Texas State will run a clinic for youth ages 5-14.

The youth football clinic is part of NCAA Football's youth initiative program to promote college football to those that dream of playing the game. Youth will participate in offense, defense/agility and tackling/blocking drills run by university coaches. Youth participants will also hear a keynote speech on the fundamentals of being a good football player and great student-athlete, on the field and in the class room from UIW Head Coach Mike Santiago, UTSA Head Coach Larry Coker, Trinity Head Coach Steve Mohr and TLU Head Coach Danny Padron.
